79006 The Council of Elrond

Released in 2013, LEGO set 79006 The Council of Elrond, is a 243-piece set inspired by The Lord of the Rings film series. The set features a detailed Elven city scene, complete with a podium for the iconic council meeting. The set includes four minifigures: Elrond, Arwen, Gimli, and Frodo Baggins, each representing key characters from The Fellowship of the Ring.

One of the notable features of the set is a launch function designed to send Gimli flying, replicating the memorable moment from the film when Gimli is thrown across the council room.

After being on the market for just 19 months, the set was retired in January 2015.
